Earlier this month Rafer Alton was charged with misdemeanor assault after he started shaking a parking attendant and spitting on him after his car was towed away. It was report that Alston was intoxicated, parked illegally, and did not pay. Yesterday however, he was arrested on a much more serious matter, having allegedly stabbed a man in the neck at a Manhattan night club. I still don’t know all the details but this sounds like a pretty serious matter.

Team USA, led by Carmelo Anthony who scored 28 points won in the exhibition game over Mexico 127-100. This was definitely one of the closer games in this years tournament for America who have steam rolled past most of their opponents, and with 15-28 3-point shooting Mexico kept it close for most of the game.
