The Toronto Raptors opened up the 2007-2008 season with a win at home against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors led most of the game, at one point by as much as 22 points in the third quarter, but the Sixers battled back to within 90-89 with a few minutes left in the fourth quarter. That run was quickly cooled down by the second year star, Andrea Bargnani, who sank two free throws followed by a four point play and the Raptors never looked back.

The Toronto Raptors all star forward, Chris Bosh, scored 16 points but sat out the last minutes of the game after being worn out. The two talented point guards, TJ Ford, and Jose Calderonboth picked up the slack with solid performances.

Always great to see some Phoenix Suns fans in the crowd, especially the one on the left who wants to have Steve Nash’s babies.

Over the past week I went through three live drafts (for one of the drafts I arrived half an hour late so the top selection were auto generated), but everything else went pretty smoothly. I usually play fantasy sports through Yahoo Fantasy Sports, so if you’re interested head on over there and join a league.

As you can see I got a pretty decent variety of NBA players, so it’s going to be tough to cheer for a specific team (unless of course it’s a Phoenix Suns game).

• Yi Jinalian practices with the Bucks, but a few rumors of him being older than 19 (incorrect birth certificate) are starting to arise.
• Marc Stein thinks that the Phoenix Suns can expect sunny days ahead despite all the off season obstacles. As a huge Phoenix Suns fan, I couldn’t agree more!
