Man who woulda thunk that? Charles Barkley actually beat Dick Bavetta in a 3 1/2 length race. The dive by Dick “The Ageless One” Bavetta in the final stretch just wasn’t enough as Charles “Krispy Kreme” Barkley finished the final half a lap running backwards. Of course, one does have to take into account that Bavetta is almost 23 years older than Barkley, but it was still a good race.
