Steve Kerr in Phoenix

Just finished reading through this article by Adrian Wojnarowski over at Yahoo! Sports describing the job that Steve Kerr has to do as general manager in Phoenix. He specifically highlights trade talks with Minnesota where the Suns are trying to get Kevin Garnett but will have to give up either Shawn Marion, or Amare Stoudemire.

Definitely a tough choice; on hand you’re getting one of the most talented and versatile players in the NBA, a former MVP, but on the other hand you’re giving up the leagues best defender (yes I said it, Shawn Marion was fucken robbed in this years defensive player of the year voting), or one of the leagues top young stars, and a player on this years NBA first team, Amare Stoudemire. As a HUGE Phoenix Suns fan, still pissed off about the suspensions the Suns / Spurs series (the championship was decided on that day) I really want to see the Suns make it to the finals next year, but is it going to be worth giving up so much for a single chance at a championship? I just don’t want to see another 2004 Lakers; a stacked team with Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, Karl Malon, and Gary Payton getting beat 4-1 by the Pistons in the finals.

So for the sake of argument, let’s have a poll:
