Dwyane Wade had a spectacular performance versus the Detroit Pistons recording his first triple double of his career. Wade one of the best guards in the Eastern conference right now also became the first sophomore this year to record a triple double along with Kobe Bryant and Chris Webber from the Western conference, and Larry Hughes from the Eastern conference.
“Wade, in his second NBA season, dominated the Pistons with unstoppable drives, timely passes and rebounding. He was 12-of-18 from the field and made 7 of 10 free throws. Wade’s 10 rebounds matched a career high.” Source
“While a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, O’Neal had lost five in a row at the Palace of Auburn Hills, including the final three games of the NBA Finals last season dating to January 2002. That streak was pushed to six earlier this season in a 78-77 loss November 26.” Source
“It feels good to get my first triple-double in the NBA because I got it out of the way and it shows you’re playing a team game. And, it feels good to beat the Pistons because I haven’t done that in my young career,” said Wade.
